Ashling Park Estate is a 50 acre estate in the serene South Downs region. The estate is known for its award-winning English sparkling wines, restaurant, tasting rooms, five luxury lodges, shop and gin school. The business runs all year around and is open to the public Thursday to Sunday. This year looks busy with many functions and covers already booked well in advance. The general weekly working hours would be over Wednesday-Sunday. Some events may run outside of these days.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Commis Chef or Chef de Partie at Ashling Park Estate, located in West Ashling, West Sussex. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and creating a variety of dishes using fresh, seasonal produce
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner services, functions/event
- Ensuring optimal food presentation
- Maintaining kitchen hygiene standards
- Overseeing stock levels
- Collaborating with the culinary team
- Contributing to creating an exceptional dining experience for guests
We are looking for hard working, motivated, organised individuals, with a real love for food and a willingness to learn. Previous experience is preferred; however, you will receive full training whilst working alongside the kitchen team. Full time (peak season) - approximately 50 hours.
