Responsibilities
- Assess and underwrite loan applications
- Assess and resolve risk or any issues with applications
- Approve and reject applications in line with policy and mandate
- Recommend loans to Head of Lending where they fall outside of mandate
- Review valuation reports
- Assess credit reports and ensure applications are verified
- Liaise with brokers, borrowers and other professional partners
Qualifications
- Previous experience of working in underwriting is essential.
- The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, a decisive decision maker and have excellent time management skills.
