An accountancy practice based in Corsham is currently recruiting a Bookkeeper to join their team on a 3-day a week basis. Working for a small, well-established practice, this role will offer some of those days to be worked from home and is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking specifically for a reduced hours role.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Managing financial records including sales and purchase ledger, bank reconciliations and cash flow management
- Preparing and filing VAT returns
- Dealing with client queries
- Assisting with payroll processing
The successful candidate will have worked in an accounts department previously and be familiar with small-business accounts packages such as Sage, Xero or QuickBooks.
