Are you an experienced Higher Education Recruiter? Ashley Kate are delighted to be supporting a global Education provider, based in London.
Salary - up to circa £55k (DOE)
Location - WC London - need to be willing to commute to various sites around London, when required
Working pattern - Hybrid working, 3 days in the office
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with academic departments and senior leadership to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment plans.
- Create and own a social media plan using tools such as LinkedIn.
- Source and attract candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Manage all advertising and agency relationships.
- Work with the Marketing team to ensure the company's brand supports recruiting the highest calibre candidates from the higher education sector.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the role.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting and candidate sourcing to interview coordination and offer negotiation.
- Facilitate the interview process, including providing guidance to hiring managers on best practices for interviewing and evaluation.
Experience required:
- Current experience of working in a University or Higher Education provider in a Talent or Recruitment Partner position - Essential
- Possess a strong understanding of recruitment best practices within the Higher Education sector - Essential
- Proven experience of using LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Proven track record of sourcing and hiring top talent in a competitive market.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, including sourcing techniques, interview skills, and employment law.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
