We are supporting our client in their search for a Senior HR Advisor to join their team in Leeds. This is a generalist HR role with a core focus on Employee Relations, providing operational HR support across a large workforce, and supporting the implementation of HR initiatives and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for HR queries and provide advice in line with legislation and company policies
- Manage day-to-day HR matters including absence management, disciplinaries, performance management, and onboarding
- Support managers with change programmes and HR projects
- Assist the HR Manager with TUPE transfers and compliance updates
- Drive HR initiatives including mental health, well-being, and DE&I campaigns
- Support delivery of the HR strategy and core people initiatives
We are looking for:
- Solid experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner, ideally within an operational background.
- Proven experience managing Employee Relations and supporting large workforces
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
- Ability to work independently and provide leadership on HR matters
- Excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- CIPD qualified or working towards
