Ashley Kate is partnering with a unique and well-established business to offer an exciting interim opportunity for a Senior HR Business Partner. This 6-month assignment features a dynamic split-location arrangement: two weeks per month in the beautiful Channel Islands, with the remaining time traveling across the South and Midlands. Travel and accommodation costs are fully covered. Possible base locations include Hampshire or Bath, with a salary circa £75k.
This role is distinctive from typical HR positions. We seek a commercially focused, forward-thinking Senior HRBP who thrives in fast-paced environments and has proven experience in retail or hospitality industries.
Key Responsibilities- Leading transformational change projects in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Designing and implementing organizational change initiatives, including restructures and cultural transformations.
- Managing employee relations matters, including consultations, engagement, and risk mitigation.
- Shaping the people strategy for the Channel Islands operation.
- Overseeing and mentoring a small team of HR Managers.
- Developing long-term people strategies, workforce planning, and talent pipelines across multiple sites.
- Proven experience in luxury hotels, hospitality, high-end restaurants, leisure, or retail.
- Expertise in advising on HR, management, and employee relations issues within complex organizations.
- Ability to manage risk and handle employee relations based on employment legislation and case management.
- Experience conducting investigations and supporting managers through formal procedures.
- Supportive of managers in improving employee performance and managing change.
- Skilled in coaching and advising managers to enhance people management standards.
- Strategic thinker with pragmatic execution skills.
