Salary: Equivalent to Β£35,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Location: Westminster, London (1-2 days per week in the office)

About the Role

We are delighted to be supporting a well-known, highly respected charity in Westminster as they look to bring on board an experienced HR Advisor for a temporary assignment. Initially 3 months but could be longer. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HR generalist who can hit the ground running and provide high-quality support across the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on employee relations casework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied ER caseload including disciplinaries, grievances, sickness, performance and capability.
  • Providing clear, pragmatic HR advice to managers in line with policy and best practice.
  • Supporting with HR processes such as probation reviews, contract changes, onboarding, and general HR administration.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely documentation and case notes.
  • Building strong working relationships across the organisation, supporting managers to make fair, consistent people decisions.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • You must have worked in a UK HR function and have strong UK employee relations experience.
  • Strong HR generalist experience, ideally within a fast-paced or complex environment.
  • Solid background in employee relations with confidence managing cases from start to finish.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and quickly build trust.
