About the Role
We are delighted to be supporting a well-known, highly respected charity in Westminster as they look to bring on board an experienced HR Advisor for a temporary assignment. Initially 3 months but could be longer. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HR generalist who can hit the ground running and provide high-quality support across the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on employee relations casework.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied ER caseload including disciplinaries, grievances, sickness, performance and capability.
- Providing clear, pragmatic HR advice to managers in line with policy and best practice.
- Supporting with HR processes such as probation reviews, contract changes, onboarding, and general HR administration.
- Ensuring accurate and timely documentation and case notes.
- Building strong working relationships across the organisation, supporting managers to make fair, consistent people decisions.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- You must have worked in a UK HR function and have strong UK employee relations experience.
- Strong HR generalist experience, ideally within a fast-paced or complex environment.
- Solid background in employee relations with confidence managing cases from start to finish.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and quickly build trust.
