Ashley Kate HR are recruiting for a dynamic and commercially minded People Partner with a passion for delivering impactful HR projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys driving change, developing people initiatives, and managing projects from design through to implementation and adoption.

Fixed Term contract 9-12 months. Hybrid and Burton on Trent. Monday - Friday 9am-5:30pm.

You’ll be responsible for leading a range of strategic people projects set out in the People Roadmap including leadership development, early careers programmes, and HR technology transformation. This is a fast paced, hands-on role where you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to shape and embed initiatives that make a real difference to both people and performance.

About You

You’ll bring strong experience in delivering HR and people focused projects, ideally within leadership development, L&D, or early careers. You’ll have previous exposure to HR technology implementations (such as HRIS or ATS) and be confident managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.

  • Deliver and enhance leadership and management development programmes, ensuring alignment with company values and business goals.
  • Facilitate workshops, coaching sessions, and feedback forums to embed effective leadership behaviours.
  • Lead the design and implementation of apprenticeship and early careers programmes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with learning providers, ensuring a positive candidate experience from application through to onboarding.
  • Manage the review, selection, and implementation of a new HR Information System (HRIS) to meet evolving business needs.
  • Oversee the rollout of a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS), driving adoption through communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and success measures for all key initiatives.
  • Track progress, produce regular updates for stakeholders, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with senior leaders to deliver people projects aligned to business priorities.
  • Promote collaboration, innovation, and a unified ‘one team’ approach across departments.
