HR Advisor / Junior HR Business Partner Southend | £40,000 | Hybrid working – 3 days office, 2 days home Are you an experienced HR Advisor ready to take the next step into business partnering?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation in a developmental Junior HR Business Partner role.
You’ll work closely with managers, build your commercial understanding and gain broader exposure across the full people agenda.
You won’t simply be there to manage processes.
You’ll be encouraged to offer ideas, challenge constructively and help managers make confident people decisions.
The role Working as part of a supportive HR team, you’ll partner with managers across the business and provide practical, commercially focused advice.
Your responsibilities will include: Coaching managers through employee relations matters, including absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance cases Building strong relationships with managers and becoming a trusted point of contact Supporting organisational change and workforce planning Using people data to identify trends and recommend improvements Contributing to engagement, reward and wider people initiatives Supporting HR projects that improve both the employee and manager experience Helping to strengthen HR processes, policies and ways of working About you You may currently be an HR Advisor looking for your first opportunity to move into business partnering, or already working at Junior HR Business Partner level and seeking broader exposure.
You’ll ideally bring: Strong generalist HR and employee relations experience A sound understanding of UK employment law Confidence advising and influencing managers The ability to build credible relationships across a business Experience working with HR systems and people data A proactive, curious and solutions-focused approach This role will suit someone who wants to understand how a business operates, not just deliver transactional HR support.
You’ll be comfortable asking questions, offering a different perspective and taking ownership of your development.
