Senior HR Executive

Location: Tunbridge Wells (Hybrid)

We’re working exclusively with a respected organisation in Tunbridge Wells that is looking for a Senior HR Executive to join their collaborative HR team and deliver high-quality support across the employee lifecycle.

This role is ideal for someone currently in a legal or financial services setting, looking to expand their HR business partnering experience in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.

You’ll be a trusted advisor to managers, involved in a broad mix of ER, recruitment, early careers, engagement, and strategic people initiatives that directly influence the culture and success of the firm.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Acting as a first point of contact for people matters across key business areas
  • Coaching and guiding managers through complex employee relations issues (disciplinaries, grievances, performance)
  • Leading end-to-end recruitment for a wide variety of roles, ensuring alignment to both technical and cultural fit
  • Supporting early careers programmes and representing the firm at graduate and intern events
  • Involvement in cyclical HR activity including performance reviews, salary reviews, and engagement surveys
  • Supporting wider People Strategy initiatives across ED&I, wellbeing, and L&D
  • Playing an active role in HR projects and process improvements

What we’re looking for:

  • HR generalist experience gained within a legal or financial services environment (this is essential )
  • A strong working knowledge of UK employment law and confidence handling ER casework
  • Experience managing recruitment campaigns across multiple business functions
  • An interest or background in early talent or engagement initiatives
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards
  • A self-starter with strong organisational skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, advise, and build trusted relationships
