We are currently recruiting for an experienced People Advisor to join a well-established, people-focused organisation supporting a diverse workforce across care and support services. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HR generalist with strong employee relations experience, who enjoys a hands-on, field-based role and working closely with operational teams.
About the Role:
- You will join a collaborative local HR team supporting a workforce of approximately 800 staff.
- Working closely with managers across services, you will provide expert HR advice and manage a varied ER caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a busy ER caseload of approximately 15–20 cases at any one time (including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and whistleblowing cases).
- Providing practical, commercial HR advice to managers across multiple sites.
- Supporting managers with absence management, performance concerns, and investigations.
- Advising on best practice and ensuring consistency in applying policies and procedures.
- Building strong working relationships across the business.
- Contributing to continuous improvement within the HR function and wider organisation.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor role.
- Strong ER experience with confidence managing complex cases.
- A proactive and personable approach with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
