We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a well-established, people-focused organisation supporting a diverse workforce across care and support services. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HR generalist with strong employee relations experience, who enjoys a hands-on, field-based role and working closely with operational teams.
About the Role
You will join a collaborative local HR team supporting a workforce of approximately 800 staff. Working closely with managers across services, you will provide expert HR advice and manage a varied ER caseload.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a busy ER caseload of approximately 15-20 cases at any one time (including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and whistleblowing cases)
- Providing practical, commercial HR advice to managers across multiple sites
- Supporting managers with absence management, performance concerns, and investigations
- Advising on best practice and ensuring consistency in applying policies and procedures
- Building strong working relationships across the business
- Contributing to continuous improvement within the HR function and wider organisation
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor role
- Strong ER experience with confidence managing complex cases
- A proactive and personable approach with excellent stakeholder management skills
