Are you an experienced HR Manager seeking your next opportunity within a well-established business? Do you have a background within engineering, manufacturing or a similar unionised environment? If so, this could be the role for you!
Reporting into the Head of HR, and managing a team of 2, the HR Manager will form part of the senior management team and play a key role in aligning good people practices with organisational goals.
- Management of 2 in HR - Develop, mentor and support their growth
- Support and partner Senior leaders of the business in absence, performance, complex employee relations
- Leadership development - Upskilling of new management
- Implementation of new policies - Ensure policies are up to date, in line with current changes, and regularly review and implement.
- Manage union relations and network within wider group
- Lead in HR initiatives and projects
- Oversee Payroll, LMS & HRIS - ensure accuracy of process and data reporting
You will be joining a fast-paced busy environment in this exciting role! We seek an experienced generalist HR Manager, with experience within Logistics, Manufacturing, Distribution or similar; a background within a unionised environment is essential. You will be data and tech savvy, have strong employment law knowledge and be up to date with legislative changes. The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified or working towards. This role is based in Nottingham on a hybrid basis.
