HR Advisor | City of London | Up to £50,000 + Benefits | Hybrid | Financial Services

Are you a confident and capable HR generalist looking for your next opportunity in a dynamic, professional environment? We’re partnering with a leading global financial services business to recruit a HR Advisor to join their small but highly effective HR team in central London. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day HR operations while contributing to broader people initiatives and projects.

You’ll play a key part in delivering a high-quality HR service across the UK and European business. You’ll provide first-line advice and support to managers on a range of people matters, including:

  • Recruitment and onboarding
  • Performance and capability
  • Sickness absence management
  • Disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Flexible working requests
  • Training and development support

To be successful in this role, you must have prior HR advisory experience in a financial services, professional services, or corporate head office environment. You’ll be comfortable working in a fast-paced, commercially focused setting and bring a confident, solution-oriented approach to your work.

We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Solid generalist HR experience with the ability to manage the full employee lifecycle
  • Confidence in managing recruitment processes end to end
  • Experience advising managers on ER matters including absence, performance, grievance, and disciplinary
  • A strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels
  • High attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism

You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive team where autonomy is encouraged and flexibility is valued. This role offers the opportunity to work across a varied HR remit and contribute to key projects within a globally recognised business.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:15pm
