Ashley Kate HR & Finance are excited to be supporting our client in Warrington to recruit a Head of HR, you will oversee the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. You will play a key role in building a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged workforce during a period of change. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with strong communication and people management skills, who can roll their sleeves up and manage the day to day function within a blue collar environment, who can drive HR transformation and foster a positive company culture. Head of HR – About you Extensive experience of leading a HR function, and delivering both strategic and operational HR within a Logistics or manufacturing environment. CIPD qualified or equivalent Previous experience of developing and delivering a HR strategy Previous experience of managing a HR team Previous experience in leading in engagement, talent and succession Exceptional at building relationships, communication & excellent leadership skills Experienced in working within a heavily unionised environment Change management experience to include restructure and TUPE Strong working knowledge of UK employment law Reporting into the CEO you will have a team of 5 reporting into yourself so management experience is crucial. You will be responsible for the strategic direction of the sites with the aim of improving people engagement across the business as they go through a period of growth and acquisition. You will develop effective working relationships with department managers, senior partners and with the Trade Unions. Partnering with company leaders and HR professionals to lead growth, to ensure the achievement of organisational goals and objectives.
