The Role
Ashley Kate are pleased to be supporting our client in the search for a Training and Recruitment Coordinator based in Harrogate.
This is a varied role responsible for coordinating recruitment, onboarding and training activity across a large operational workforce.
You will work closely with the Training Manager and hiring managers across multiple locations, with travel required approximately 2-3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process for operational and technical vacancies.
- Arrange interviews and liaise with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinate new starter onboarding and inductions.
- Support pre-employment processes, including drug and alcohol testing.
- Work closely with operational and engineering managers on recruitment requirements and interviews.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and documentation.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of recruitment systems and processes.
- Provide general recruitment and training coordination and administration.
About You
- Previous recruitment, recruitment coordination or similar experience.
- Experience within a high-volume or operational recruitment environment would be advantageous.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities effectively.
- Confident working independently and taking ownership of recruitment activity.
- Comfortable travelling regularly between regional sites.
- Experience recruiting within transport, logistics, engineering, care or another high-volume environment would be beneficial.
