HR Advisor in Essex

HR Advisor | Southend | £40,000 | Hybrid working – 3 days office, 2 days home Working as part of a supportive HR team, you’ll partner with managers across the business and provide practical, commercially focused advice. Your responsibilities will include: Coaching managers through ER matters, including absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance cases Building strong relationships with managers and becoming a trusted point of contact Supporting organisational change and workforce planning Using people data to identify trends and recommend improvements Contributing to engagement, reward and wider people initiatives Supporting HR projects that improve both the employee and manager experience Helping to strengthen HR processes, policies and ways of working About you You’ll ideally bring: Strong generalist HR and employee relations experience A sound understanding of UK employment law Confidence advising and influencing managers The ability to build credible relationships across a business Experience working with HR systems and people data A proactive, curious and solutions-focused approach This role will suit someone who wants to understand how a business operates, not just deliver transactional HR support. You’ll be comfortable asking questions, offering a different perspective and taking ownership of your development.
