We are seeking an ambitious and proactive HR Business Partner to join a well-established organisation operating across multiple locations throughout Dorset and the surrounding region. This is a true generalist HR role with a strong operational focus, offering the opportunity to work closely with managers and senior leaders to deliver practical people solutions that support business performance. This is an 18 month FTC.
- Partnering with managers and leaders across multiple sites to provide proactive HR support.
- Supporting employee relations activity, including complex case management, disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance issues.
- Using HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends, provide insights and support business planning.
- Coaching and developing managers to improve leadership capability and people management practices.
- Supporting organisational change projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Driving engagement, retention and talent development activities.
- Working collaboratively with wider HR teams to deliver a consistent and high-quality employee experience.
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policy.
We are looking for an experienced HR professional who combines strong operational HR expertise with the ability to build credible relationships across all levels of the organisation.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or HR Manager role.
- Strong generalist HR knowledge across the full employee lifecycle.
- Experience supporting complex, multi-site or operationally focused businesses.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical capability with experience interpreting HR data, metrics and trends.
- Confidence influencing and challenging managers to achieve positive business outcomes.
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work at pace.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience would be advantageous.
