Ashley Kate HR & Finance are excited to be recruiting on behalf of our not-for-profit client, passionate about serving the Burton community with a clear purpose. This is a part time role (18.5 hours), on a 12 month FTC. Based in Burton-on-Trent (Hybrid).

The role:

  • HR advice & L&D delivery - Work with managers and stakeholders to provide quality HR support and deliver learning and development activity.
  • Manage external providers - Source and oversee external training partners to ensure value and quality.
  • Evaluate learning impact - Use feedback and data to assess effectiveness and improve our development offer.
  • Hands-on facilitation and delivery of training.
  • Manage data and reporting - Analyse learning needs and recommend improvements.
  • Stakeholder management - Influence, challenge constructively and build trusted relationships.
  • Advice & Guidance to management on policies and process.
  • Support wider HR activities around Employee Relations, Recruitment, Policy development.

About you:

We’re looking for someone with a HR Generalist background with experience within OD/Learning & Development as a specialism. You will have strong facilitation skills and confidence working in a small, close-knit team where flexibility and collaboration are key. Understanding of regulated environments such as housing, care, charity, or public sector experience would be ideal. You will be CIPD qualified or working towards.
