Are you an energetic, down-to-earth HR Business Partner who thrives in fast-paced, people-centric environments? Do you bring experience from retail, hospitality, leisure, or similarly high-volume, operational industries? If so, this regional role could be your next exciting step.
We're supporting a dynamic and growing business in the search for a Regional HR Business Partner to cover key sites across the South, including: Bournemouth, Farnham, Eastleigh, Gosport and others. This organisation operates full-on, high-energy sites with diverse customer profiles from family-friendly experiences to member-focused locations and even stag-do-style events. No two days look the same.
General Managers are deeply operational and hands-on, so the HRBP plays a critical role in leadership development, capability building, coaching, and supporting managers with real-world people challenges. This is not a desk-based HR role; it's a visible, trusted partner position for someone who loves being out on site and working with people at all levels.
About the role:- Partnering with GM's, Assistant Managers and department leaders to build capability, confidence and consistency in people leadership.
- Supporting a wide range of HR issues including ER, safeguarding situations, performance management, talent, culture, and team engagement.
- Working closely with a Divisional Director and the People & Culture Director, ensuring they are freed from day-to-day people escalations.
- Coaching leaders with very different experience levels, some highly seasoned, others new and developing.
- Embedding culture, brand values, leadership behaviours and people frameworks.
- Navigating a fast-paced environment where sites come alive between 3pm and late evening.
- Understanding the operational intensity of each location and adapting your style accordingly.
- Handling environments with high volumes of frontline employees.
- Working with third-party HR providers as needed.
This role also includes occasional involvement with alternative education provision onsite, requiring good judgment around safeguarding and risk.
What We're Looking For:- Background in retail, hospitality, leisure, or high-volume, multi-site operations.
- Strong experience partnering with managers at all levels, especially new or developing leaders.
- Someone who genuinely enjoys being on the road and on site - not behind a desk.
- Down-to-earth, approachable and solutions-oriented.
- Experience supporting demanding, hands-on operations with lots happening at once.
- Comfortable with varied workplace cultures, team dynamics and sometimes challenging environments.
- Pragmatic HR partnering style: supportive, commercial, and able to cut through complexity.
- Able to work flexibly across the region - travel is essential.
- Personality fit is key: this business values individuals who are real, warm, resilient, positive, and able to influence.
This organisation has a genuinely strong culture, full-on in the best possible way - energetic, inclusive, people-focused and constantly evolving. You'll be joining at a time where your expertise will genuinely shape leadership capability, employee experience, and long-term people strategy.
If you're a confident, people-first HRBP who loves empowering managers, solving real-world problems, and making a visible impact, we'd love to hear from you.
