Are you an experienced ER professional who enjoys partnering with leaders, navigating complex people challenges, and delivering practical, commercially focused HR solutions? We're recruiting for an ER Consultant to join a busy and evolving HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on coaching managers, managing complex casework, and supporting organisational change within a regulated environment. Working closely with leaders across the business, you'll provide expert guidance on a wide range of employee relations matters, helping to drive fair, consistent, and legally compliant people decisions.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing a broad range of ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, and conduct matters.
- Coaching and advising managers on policies, procedures, and best practice.
- Supporting organisational change projects, restructures, consultations, and redeployment activity.
- Identifying trends and risks through casework and providing meaningful insight to stakeholders.
- Building strong relationships with leaders to support both commercial and people objectives.
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal governance requirements.
- Supporting wider HR initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
What we're looking for:
- Proven ER experience within a regulated or complex organisation.
- Experience managing complex ER cases independently.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation.
- Previous experience supporting organisational change and consultation processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to balance commercial priorities with a people-focused approach.
