Ashley Kate HR & Finance are supporting a manufacturing client in Alcester with a vacancy within their HR Department and are currently recruiting for an HR Advisor. This role would suit candidates with relevant, proven experience who are looking for an opportunity to further develop their skills within a growing organisation.
HR Advisor Onsite with possibility of hybrid 1 day per week, 39 hours per week with an early finish on Fridays at 12:30. Salary £42,000 per year.
HR Advisor - Role Responsibilities:- Ensure legal compliance is maintained and promote equality and fairness in the application of HR policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance to Line Managers on dispute resolution, grievances, disciplinaries and dismissals.
- Support Line Managers with best practice in people management and the application of HR policies and procedures, including recruitment and selection, performance management and absence management.
- Promote opportunities to enhance employee engagement, ensuring HR processes are followed correctly.
- Coordinate and act as an ambassador for company events.
- Support the embedding of recruitment processes to optimise sourcing and selection of talent, while identifying ways to reduce recruitment costs and develop talent pipelines for future workforce planning.
- Deliver an excellent onboarding experience for new starters, ensuring appropriate inductions are completed.
- Ensure all HR administrative activities are completed accurately and on time, in line with the HR Process Manual.
- Coordinate the Apprenticeship Scheme.
- Manage changes to terms and conditions, including flexible working, role changes and remuneration updates.
- Support the site in meeting HR-related audit requirements.
- Coordinate training and development activities on site.
- Provide tactical support to the HR Director on functional projects.
- Promote, coach and support company values and behaviours.
- CIPD level 5.
- Up to 3 years’ HR experience desirable.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- High attention to detail with a right-first-time approach and strong process adherence.
- Effective communication skills.
- Reliable and committed.
- Well organised, with the ability to manage workload and prioritise where required.
