Our client, a successful and well-established manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced Accounts & Payroll Specialist to join their finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role within a supportive, down-to-earth organisation that values accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts functions, including reconciliations and supplier payments.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and support with year-end accounts.
- Process monthly payroll and maintain accurate employee records.
- Assist the Management Accountant with monthly reporting and audit preparation.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial processes.
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in accounts management and payroll.
- Strong working knowledge of Sage 200, payroll systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with VAT returns and year-end submissions.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Background in a manufacturing or production finance environment (desirable).
