Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger professional ready to lead a high-performing team in a values-driven, supportive organisation? We\’re currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Manager to join a well-established business with a strong focus on people, performance, and continuous improvement.
As Purchase Ledger Manager, you\’ll take full ownership of the purchase ledger function across two legal entities, supporting a 40m turnover business spanning seven centres. You\’ll lead a committed team and play a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounts payable processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support a team of five Purchase Ledger professionals
- Oversee invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment runs
- Lead weekly team meetings and manage team performance
- Handle supplier queries and escalate issues as needed
- Assist in cashflow forecasting and supplier payment planning
- Maintain oversight of ledger health through regular checks
- Contribute to sustainability and data reporting as required
We\’re looking for a confident, hands-on leader with a background in Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable. You\’ll be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
What You\’ll Bring:
- Experience in a similar Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role
- Proven team leadership or supervisory experience

- Familiarity with finance systems (Sage experience is a plus)
