If you love L&D because you enjoy being with people, in the room, making learning happen, this could be a brilliant opportunity. We're looking for an L&D Advisor to join a growing Learning & Development team in Enfield. This isn't a role where you'll be sitting behind a screen designing strategy. Reporting to the L&D Manager, you'll be the visible, hands-on face of learning across the site delivering inductions, facilitating workshops, working closely with managers and helping create an employee experience where development genuinely feels part of everyday working life.
What will you be doing?
- You'll take real ownership of the delivery of learning initiatives, including:
- Creating a brilliant induction experience so new starters feel welcomed, informed and connected from day one
- Delivering engaging workshops, learning sessions and development activities
- Coordinating learning activity from start to finish - scheduling, attendance, materials and on-site delivery
- Building strong relationships with managers to understand development needs and encourage participation
- Helping embed a consistent learning culture across the organisation
- Gathering feedback and sharing insight with the L&D Manager on what's working and where further development is needed
- Playing an active role in a growing L&D function with plenty of opportunity to develop over time
Who are we looking for?
- You'll probably already be working in an L&D Advisor, Learning Partner or Training-focused role and be someone who gets their energy from engaging with people face-to-face.
- You'll ideally have experience of:
- Delivering inductions, workshops, or training sessions in person
- Confidently facilitating groups at different levels
- Managing structured onboarding programmes and improving the new starter journey
- Supporting career pathways, capability frameworks, talent, or development programmes
- Building strong relationships with managers and employees
- Coordinating multiple learning activities while keeping everything organised and on track
Most importantly, you'll be credible, approachable, and visible. Someone employees recognise, managers trust and who genuinely enjoys bringing learning to life.
This is a five-day-a-week onsite role in Enfield, so it will suit someone who wants to be part of the day-to-day business rather than working remotely. For someone ambitious who wants to grow their L&D career within a developing function, there is plenty of opportunity to make your mark.
