We are recruiting a Quality Inspector for our reputable client (permanent position).
Location: Chippenham, Wiltshire
Salary: £33,500 – £36,500
Hours: Monday–Friday (half-day Friday finish)
Overtime: Available
Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the UK
About my Client: A well-established precision engineering business with a strong order book and modern facilities. They are seeking a Quality Inspector to join their growing team. The successful candidate will ensure products meet the highest quality standards, working closely with production to maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect metal components using precision tools
- Verify compliance with industry standards
- Analyse inspection data & prepare reports
- Identify non-conformities
- Maintain accurate inspection & quality records
- Contribute to the development of QA policies
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of machining processes & materials
- Skilled in the use of engineering drawings
- Knowledge of QMS and industry standards
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
- Six Sigma/Lean training or certification
- Experience with root cause analysis and CAPA
- Familiarity with quality/data analysis software
