CNC Turning Operator / Machinist
Hours: 39/week (Mon–Thu 8am–5pm, Fri 8am–1pm)
Overtime: The company has over 60 years of manufacturing experience. We operate 11 CNC lathes (Puma Lynx to Puma 700) and 2 CNC mill/turn machines, all using Fanuc controls. We are expanding and seeking a reliable, skilled CNC Machinist.
- Manufacture precision components to CAD drawings
- Set, operate, and (ideally) program CNC lathes
- Run multiple machines during peak periods
- Inspect parts to maintain quality standards
- Suggest improvements to machining methods and programs
Minimum 2 years’ experience with CNC lathes
CAD/CAM experience (advantageous)
Competitive pay (based on experience/ability)
Company pension (after 3 months)
25 days holiday + bank holidays (includes Xmas shutdown)
