We are now looking for a Refugee Support and Integration Officer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced support worker with a background of working in a culturally-sensitive setting and with those with complex/multiple support needs to join our impactful and values-led organisation. In this rewarding role, your support and guidance will be transformative to the lives of our tenants, making a hugely positive impact on their experience with us and in their new home.
As a Refugee Support and Integration Officer, you will focus on enabling the resettlement and successful integration of refugees. Joining our Support and Integration Team, you will manage a caseload of tenants providing high standards of support, as well as quality information and guidance. You will carry out pre-tenancy assessments, develop personalised support plans and review these regularly, and ensure culturally-sensitive support is delivered.
Providing advice and support on a range of issues including housing, finance, education, employment, health and immigration, you will assist with budgeting, social networks, training and employment. Additionally, you will:
- Signpost to other relevant services and agencies
- Organise group trips for tenants
- Forge links with external organisations
- Accompany tenants to appointments with various services
- Visit tenants in their properties and the community
To be considered as a Refugee Support and Integration Officer, you will need:
- Experience of providing advice and guidance, advocacy, and culturally sensitive support
- Experience and knowledge of working with people with complex/multiple support needs
- The ability to assess, manage, and review needs and risks effectively
- The ability to maintain accurate records and manage a caseload
- Strong organisational and planning skills
