Ashley Services are recruiting on behalf of a growing electrical contractor specialising in waste and clean water treatment works, as well as commercial and industrial projects across the Northwest. This is a hands-on supervisory role offering long-term stability, strong benefits, and opportunities for progression within a forward-thinking business.
The Role:
You’ll be responsible for the safe supervision and delivery of electrical works on live water treatment sites, leading site teams and subcontractors while remaining technically involved. Project work includes:
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Generator hook-ups
- Electrical resilience upgrades
- Surge protection installations
You’ll ensure all works are completed safely, on programme, and in full compliance with industry standards and water-sector safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and deliver electrical installations across water, commercial, and industrial sites
- Lead operatives and subcontractors on-site
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Ensure compliance with regulations, permits, RAMS, and site safety standards
- Maintain high H&S and environmental standards
- Represent the business professionally on-site
Requirements:
- Gold Card Approved Electrician
- SSSTS (desirable, not essential)
- Full clean UK driving licence
- 2391 Testing & Inspection (desirable, not essential)
- EUSR Water Hygiene (desirable, not essential)
