Ashley Services are working with a well-established and rapidly growing electrical contractor specialising in electrical installations across waste and clean water treatment works, as well as commercial and industrial sites throughout the Northwest. The Role
As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe supervision, coordination, and delivery of electrical works on live water treatment sites. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to health, safety, and environmental compliance. You will lead directly employed operatives and subcontractors while remaining involved in installation and commissioning activities. Projects include:
- Whole-site Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Generator hook-ups
- Electrical resilience upgrades
- Surge protection installations
All works must be delivered in line with relevant standards, permits, method statements, and water industry safety requirements, ensuring programme, quality, and compliance targets are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems on water treatment, commercial, and industrial sites
- Supervise site teams and subcontractors
- Interpret and work from electrical drawings and specifications
- Ensure compliance with current regulations, site permits, and safety standards
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental management
- Represent the business professionally with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
- Gold Card Approved Electrician
- SSSTS (Beneficial but not essential)
- Full clean UK driving licence
- 2391 Testing & Inspection (beneficial but not essential)
- EUSR Water Hygiene (beneficial but not essential)
