- Location: Cirencester, Gloucestershire
- Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annum (DOE) + Car Allowance
- Holidays: 25 days per annum + bank holidays

The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Mechanical Services Contracts Manager to take full ownership of mechanical installation projects ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll manage multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to oversee all stages from design handover to completion and final account agreement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of mechanical installation projects
- Oversee procurement of materials, plant, and subcontractor packages, ensuring best value
- Control project budgets, forecast spend, and monitor progress using financial tracking tools
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure programme, quality, and safety compliance
- Prepare monthly payment applications and variation costings
- Ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) are completed and followed
- Produce regular progress reports for Directors
- Liaise with clients, engineers, architects, surveyors, and in-house teams
- Support tender preparation and project planning activities
- Oversee completion documentation, including certification and O&M manuals
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing commercial mechanical projects (£1.5m+)
- Strong background in Mechanical Engineering within commercial, industrial, or public sector buildings
- Excellent understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical services design
- Technically proficient and commercially astute
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams
- Confident with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with CAD software (desirable)
