Overview
Ashley Services are working with a client who are looking for an M&E Supervisor. Our client is a well-established design-and-build contractor specialising in the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health Engineering services. They provide end-to-end solutions including design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance, with a strong focus on renewable energy technologies. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced M&E Site Supervisor to oversee the installation of mechanical and electrical services on a major new-build warehouse development in Dartford, Kent. This role will run from April 2026 through to practical completion in September 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage site inductions and supervise subcontractors, ensuring full compliance with RAMS and health & safety procedures.
- Carry out and record equipment safety checks.
- Deliver daily Toolbox Talks to reinforce safety standards.
- Monitor site progress in line with the construction programme, adjusting plans to meet deadlines.
- Ensure all works meet project drawings, specifications, and quality expectations.
- Conduct and document quality inspections.
- Provide regular updates and progress reports to the Contracts Management team.
- Maintain effective day-to-day communication with the main contractor.
Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
- CSCS Gold Card (or higher).
- Telehandler licence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience working on commercial construction projects.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
