We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic small animal and exotics team!

Duties:

  • Admit patients, assist veterinarians during surgery and anaesthesia.
  • Manage discharges and inpatient care.
  • Run nurse clinic consultations and pharmacy duties.
  • Provide ward nursing, recovery and medication box countersignation.
  • Communicate with clients and complete nursing messages.
  • Work with a wide variety of species across two sites (Chorlton and Sale).

Our Practice & Facilities:

We operate at two sites with a dedicated Avian and Exotic referral clinic at Chorlton. Our practice prides itself on fantastic teamwork, a supportive culture and a high standard of veterinary care.

Recruitment & Qualifications:

  • Valid RVN qualification and registration with the RCVS.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
  • Keen interest in small animals and exotics with a commitment to ongoing learning.
  • Efficiency in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a compassionate approach.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to contribute to a collaborative practice.
  • High attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi‑task effectively.

Working Hours:

40 hours spread over four days a week Monday to Friday, with weekends 1 in 5.
