Ashill VC Primary School is looking to appoint a highly committed, enthusiastic and compassionate individual who has an energy and interest in not only working with whole classes of children but also working with small groups of children and/or in a 1:2:1 capacity, intervening to close gaps in children’s subject knowledge and developing their basic skills.
You will need to:
- have strength, experience and relevant qualifications
- have experience of working with children
- have a good understanding of how to motivate children to engage them in their learning
- be determined to identify what helps a child learn, overcoming barriers along the way
- have excellent communication skills
- be creative and have a willingness to offer new ideas
- be a good listener, facilitator for learning, motivator and role model
