Ashgrove Care Home is a welcoming purpose built home providing high quality Residential and Nursing care for up to 65 residents.
Our home is a warm and friendly place where residents are supported to live life with comfort, dignity and joy.
We are now looking for a creative, sociable and well organised Activities Coordinator to join our team.
You will play an important role in making each day meaningful for our residents, bringing fun, connection, confidence and purpose into their daily lives.
You do not need care home experience.
What matters is energy, kindness, imagination and the ability to engage with people of all backgrounds and care needs.
What We Offer Β£***** per hour 36 hours per week Pension, Paid PVG, Uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) What You Will Do You will plan and deliver a stimulating range of daily activities, both group and one to one, based on the interests and preferences of our residents.
This may include music, arts and crafts, gentle exercise, social gatherings, outings, themed events and meaningful pastimes that support independence and confidence.
A key part of your role will be getting to know each resident, building rapport and ensuring activities are inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.
You will promote a warm and positive environment where residents feel valued and involved.
