  • 37.5 hours per week to be worked 5 out of 7 days including Bank holidays and occasional weekends .

Our retail outlets provide much-needed income to the hospice. This is vital to be able to provide care to the people of North Derbyshire. The hospice has 15 retail shops, a furniture warehouse, a donation centre, two clearance shops, and two coffee shops! We also have two online eBay platforms, for clothes and general goods and an online furniture store. It’s a big operation!

You will be joining a highly motivated hard-working team who are driven to generate income for Ashgate Hospice, they achieve this goal by providing a community hub for local families, providing quality produce and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities:

  • To drive the collection/delivery vehicle (Ford Transit) as required.
  • To collect and deliver items of stock to our network of retail shops and coffee shops.
  • To transport items from the donor’s homes to the retail shop/warehouse.
  • To manage time effectively to help ensure key responsibilities are met.
  • To move donated items into the relevant areas within the warehouse

Ashgate Hospice, based in North Derbyshire, offers free palliative and end of life care for adults with life-limiting or incurable illnesses, including cancer, neurological diseases, and advanced heart, kidney, and lung conditions.
