Ashgate Hospice, based in North Derbyshire, offers free palliative and end of life care for adults with life-limiting or incurable illnesses, including cancer, neurological diseases, and advanced heart, kidney, and lung conditions. What You\’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will provide expert palliative and end-of-life nursing care, supporting patients and their families through difficult times. From assessing and implementing individualised care plans to ensuring effective symptom management, your compassionate approach will prioritise dignity and comfort. You will work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team, contributing to collaborative decision-making and ensuring continuity of care. Acting as a shift leader when required, you will mentor and support junior staff, promoting a positive and supportive environment. You will also participate in service improvements and quality initiatives to shape ongoing development of our care services. What You\’ll Bring
To succeed in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration. Experience in delivering compassionate care within a multidisciplinary team is essential, along with excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills. - Salary: £32,084 – £38,421 (based on full-time equivalent of 37.5 hours)

- Hours: Part-time or Full-time, on a rota basis provided 8 weeks in advance. Day shift 07:00-19:30, night shift 19:00-07:30. Shorter day shifts may be available for flexibility.
