Join our team as a Governance & Executive Support Assistant and play an important role supporting strong leadership, effective governance and high‑quality care for the people and families we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient and effective governance and secretariat support to all aspects of the Governance Framework, ensuring compliance with the hospice's Memorandum and Articles of Association.
  • Provide high‑quality executive support to the Board, Chief Executive and members of the Leadership Team as required.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, quality assurance and distribution of papers, and ensure the timely production of high‑quality meeting minutes.
  • Manage complex and sensitive diaries, arrange meetings, schedule away days and coordinate executive correspondence.
What You'll Bring

You should have excellent IT skills, outstanding communication and organising skills, work well as part of a team, and have experience supporting a Board and Senior Management. A proactive approach, a drive to improve processes and a strong sense of our values—compassionate, team‑oriented, respectful, open and inclusive—are essential.

Hours and Working Arrangements

Full‑time (37.5 hours per week to Monday to Friday) with the option to work part‑time, job share or cover evenings and weekends on a flexible basis.
