In this full‑time role, you will provide high‑quality IT support to colleagues across our four offices, based primarily in Exeter. You will handle a wide range of technical issues, from troubleshooting hardware and software problems to provisioning new equipment for starters and supporting device refreshes. You will also assist with the configuration and management of IT equipment, maintain appropriate stock levels across sites, and ensure that all colleagues receive an efficient and professional service. Your work will involve supporting colleagues both face‑to‑face at our IT Tech Bar and during on‑site visits. You will liaise closely with the IT Helpdesk, the Facilities team and third‑party suppliers to ensure the prompt resolution of issues. You will also provide support to the IT Systems and Security Manager on project work as required.
The role operates on a rotating shift pattern between 07:00 and 18:00, covering the hours of 07:00–15:15, 09:00–17:15 and 09:45–18:00, with occasional travel to our Bristol office, typically 1–2 times per month.
Who you are
You will bring experience in IT support, strong technical knowledge and a genuine customer‑first mindset. We’re looking for someone reliable and confident in taking ownership of tasks from start to finish, with the initiative to pick up tickets you may not have handled before and the curiosity to learn from the wider team as you continue developing your skills. Professionalism, accountability and a positive, solutions‑focused approach are all essential.
A key part of this role involves working on our Tech Bar, which is a visible, colleague‑facing service point. Because of this, it’s important that you are approachable, clear in your communication and committed to delivering an exceptional level of support. You should feel comfortable engaging with colleagues at all levels across the firm, maintaining a calm and professional manner under pressure, whilst working effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. You will have strong interpersonal skills, a proactive and organised working style, and the ability to build trusted relationships quickly. Experience supporting audio‑visual equipment, particularly Logitech Video Conferencing for Microsoft Teams Rooms, would be beneficial. As occasional travel to our other offices will be required, you will also need a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
