We are seeking to recruit a motivated and personable HR Advisor to join our award-winning Employment team in Bristol on either a part-time or full-time basis. With previous experience in a HR role, you will work closely with our clients providing support across an array of employee relations cases. You’ll be a trusted advisor to clients who are seeking support, and therefore you’ll effectively build strong relationships from the outset.

Our clients will come to you for support with cases including performance management, disciplinary, grievance, absence management, capability, and flexible working. Furthermore, you will advise on queries arising from TUPE and contractual queries, whilst being involved in policy writing and amending. This is a really exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in HR, offering variety and challenge in a supportive and successful employment team.

Who you are

We are looking for someone who has previous experience working either in an internal HR team, or as part of a HR helpline service or consultancy, with at least a Level 5 CIPD qualification. As a naturally well-organised self-starter who has exceptional attention to detail, you will have a strong understanding and experience of dealing with a variety of employee relations matters. You will be a strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude and flexible approach, remaining calm under pressure and being used to working to tight deadlines.

With a proven track record of delivering results, you will have shown an ability to generate creative and workable solutions when required. Interpersonal skills are key for this role, so you will demonstrate the confidence to effectively build rapport with clients, whilst having the ability to produce clear, concise, and fluent written work using the appropriate style. There will be the requirement to cover weekends as part of a shift pattern with the team.

Our offer

We offer a range of benefits to support you at work and at home. This includes a flexible working framework, extra annual leave for your birthday, and the option to buy more holiday. We have a comprehensive package to support physical and mental health, healthcare plans, an Employee Assistance programme, and free access to the Calm mindfulness app. You’ll also have the chance to get involved in our responsible business programme, including taking part in fundraising initiatives and bringing your energy to our environment or diversity groups.
