About The Role

Are you interested in building a workforce which shapes futures? If so, join us as Resourcing Assistant. We have a great opportunity to join us as a Resourcing Assistant. Based at our Broadstairs College, you will be part of a small, friendly and knowledgeable team playing a key role in ensuring that the organisation identifies and onboards the most suitable talent for roles across all of its functions. Reporting to the Resourcing Manager you will manage a varied workload, providing administrative and organisational support to the Resourcing Team, working as effectively and efficiently as possible within laid down time scales, ensuring that requirements are met and standards are maintained.

About You

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has previous experience in a People, HR or Recruitment and who is looking to broaden their In‑House Recruitment knowledge, but it is not essential as full training will be given. You will be a creative thinker with the ability to use initiative to solve problems, have exceptional attention to detail skills with the ability to work quickly and accurately to a high standard with a "right first time" approach. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills at all levels both verbally and in writing including spelling, punctuation and grammar and be highly organised and forward thinking with the ability to multitask effectively and work to deadlines. You will thrive managing a varied workload and your excellent organisational and planning skills means you’re able to effectively balance and deal with multiple competing priorities. You’re a productive person who takes a holistic view when managing tasks, ensuring you are thorough in your approach with good attention to detail to ensure accuracy. Building up relationships with stakeholders and delivering great customer service is important to you and you pride yourself on being approachable and able to adapt your verbal and written communication style to suit your audience, remembering the importance of tact and confidentiality. Experience of using an Applicant Tracking System is desirable but not essential.
