About The Role
As a Lecturer of Plumbing at East Kent Colleges Group, you will teach, train and track students in a variety of learning environments, ensuring a high-quality learning experience.
You will:
- Prepare and deliver engaging lessons to inspire and educate learners.
- Support learners to achieve their full potential.
- Train and assess students in both theory and practical work.
- Promote a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Information:
- Hours per week: 15
- Salary: £14,080 up to £15,441
- Working days: Monday and Tuesday 8.30 - 17.30
- Campus location: Dover Technical College

About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is organised and creative.
- Can plan and teach engaging and innovative lessons.
- Has demonstrated interpersonal skills.
- Able to assess and track student progress.
- Will ensure all students develop the skills they need to succeed.
Ideally you will have experience of teaching or have delivered training in the workplace although this isn’t essential as training will be offered to the successful applicant. You must have a positive outlook, be empathetic towards learners and have strong class management skills.
The successful candidate will be able to teach a range of designated study programs and/or courses from Level 1 up to Level 3 and will be able to motivate learners to achieve and succeed on their programmes of study.
