About The Role
Bridge the Student‑Employer Gap and Empower Student Futures – Join us as an Industry Liaison Officer at EKC Dover Bench Street Arts. As an Industry Liaison Officer (ILO) you will be responsible for securing and monitoring work placements in varied vocational areas for students, and you will act as the main point of contact for employer relations in these areas. This includes supporting planning and implementation of employer events and organising visits for students. Other responsibilities include ensuring employers return the required documentation in a timely fashion following college guidelines and national expectations, and working with students on a one‑to‑one and small‑group basis to identify employability skill gaps and support them in developing these skills to successfully complete an industry placement.
Working Hours and Compensation
- Hours per week: 30.
- Weeks per year: 37.
- Salary per year: £18,845 (inc holiday pay).
- Working pattern: flexible across Mon‑Fri.

About You
Seeking an Industry Liaison Officer who has excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding written and verbal communication. You will be highly organised, prioritise work, and apply a flexible, responsive approach to demands. You will have an inquisitive, analytical approach, pay meticulous attention to detail, work independently and as part of a team. A Level 3 qualification in a relevant Art, Media or Design subject is desirable; alternatively, relevant sector experience and a willingness to obtain a Level 3 qualification will be considered. If you have experience in the Art and Design or Media sector, along with a passion for sharing knowledge and expertise with the future generation, this position will be ideal for you.
