About The Role

EKC Group are looking to appoint a Marketing Officer. Every day will be very different, and the right candidate will have a range of overlapping skills to draw upon.

The majority of the role is in the promotion and celebration of the College and all of its students. In this aspect you will work with the Principal to help inform strategic recruitment, marketing and communication plans for the College, our Heads of Curriculum on showcasing their areas and the Student Union President to ensure all students at college have a voice with a proactive approach to new initiatives, charity events, educational visits, wellbeing events and external speakers.

You will report to the College Services Manager and work alongside the College Sports & Enrichment Coach to devise, implement and celebrate a wide variety of enrichment activities that encourage students to discuss ethical issues with confidence and engage in debates about respecting diversity, the environment, democracy, freedom of speech and LGBTQ+ celebrations.

About You

We are looking to appoint a creative individual with a real passion for youth and community work and a desire to help people of all ages to reach their full potential, at whatever stage of their learning.

You should ideally have a relevant qualification in event management, creative practice or marketing at degree level, but we would be interested in investing in the right candidate if you have experience and exhibit the values and behaviours we are looking for.

You must be able to work independently and carry out the duties of the post with minimal direct personal supervision and will have high level organisational skills and the ability to juggle priorities effectively.
