About the Role

Make student success your business, join us as a Lecturer of Business at EKC Broadstairs College. You will teach, train and assess students across a variety of learning environments, ensuring a high‑quality learning experience. Your role includes providing support to learners to enable them to achieve their maximum potential and leading, where appropriate, on designated study programmes and/or courses. You will be responsible for designing, delivering and evaluating the curriculum.

Hours per week: 11.5

Salary per year: £11,223 up to £12,295

Working Pattern: 8.30 – 17.00 Tuesdays (7.5 hours); 8.30 – 12.30 Wednesdays (4 hours)

About You

You will be a highly organised and creative educator, able to plan and deliver engaging, innovative lessons that inspire learners. You will have strong interpersonal skills, a positive and empathetic approach, and the confidence to manage a classroom effectively. Tracking student progress and using this to plan targeted support and interventions will be a key part of your role. Ideally, you have experience teaching or delivering training in the workplace, although this is not essential as full training will be provided. You will be able to teach across Level 1 to Level 3 programmes and motivate learners to achieve and succeed in their studies.
