Primarily you will help in the important traffic management task of enforcing the councils waiting and parking restrictions by advising motorists and issuing Penalty Charge Notices. The work is varied, interesting and not what you would expect. You will be required to undertake other Enforcement tasks, evidence gathering for council departments.
It is a requirement of the job to have a full clean Category B driving licence. You must also be prepared to patrol on one of our electric bikes for which full training is provided. The post holder must maintain at all times a satisfactory report from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
