We are currently working with an international organisation that provides complete and innovative feed solutions for conventional and organic livestock farming to recruit a Sales Support Planner to join their fast-paced business.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a “best in class” approach to customer experience management.
- Confirming deliveries with customers for existing contracts using the Pre-Trading report. Updating notes on this report to provide full visibility for the Trading Team on potential sales gaps.
- Update customers with monthly price updates, update SAP with correct pricing and haulage rates.
- Provide support and cover for other Production Planners during holiday periods and absence.
- Support for Co-Product Trading team as agreed with the Trading manager (Offering repeat spot order, forward contracts, pitting) etc.
- Responsibility for Sales Planning the Trading board. Whilst confirming you should actively try to manage trading gaps to allow the trading time the maximum time to complete sales.
- Sales order/Purchase order entry to support Production Planners as required.
- Own all elements of Customer service with our customers. This will include complaints, eta enquiries, delivery date enquiries, requests updates and pricing queries.
- Informing Traders of opportunities and competitor information.
- Taking and managing incoming customer service calls.
- Update the trading board as customer confirmations are completed to provide sales gap information.
- Blocked order management.
- To develop and maintain the input of information into C4C database system regarding all customer interactions.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- A level or equivalent.
Preferred Skills
- 3 years’ experience in a customer service/planning team environment.
- In depth knowledge and understanding of the agricultural animal feed industry advantageous.
- Ability to recognize strategic planning opportunities and the way in which to take best advantage.
- Confident interpersonal and social skills with the ability to build relationships with people at all levels of business via the telephone or face to face.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Ability to keep calm under pressure and deliver excellent customer service decisions.
- SAP knowledge.
