The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Do you want to make a real difference to the lives of residents in need? If so, the Housing Options Officer role may be for you.
You will be responsible for providing a customer focused, high-quality advice and assessment service for people who are threatened with homelessness or are experiencing homelessness. There will be a specific focus on improving access to the private rented sector for those in urgent housing need.
You will develop effective partnership working with local landlords and work to help overcome barriers faced by those trying to access this sector. To meet the requirements of this role, you must be able to interpret complex legislation and guidance, contribute positively to the development of new working practices and initiatives that help to prevent homelessness, increase the take-up of housing options and minimise the use and cost of temporary accommodation.
