Responsibilities
On a day‑to‑day basis, you will be responsible for maintaining our revenues and benefits databases in accordance with legislation and local policies. Job activities include establishing liability for Council Tax through contact with residents and assessing claims for benefit (Housing Benefit and Local Council Tax Support).
Excellent customer service skills are essential, together with the ability to make decisions and work as part of a team.
Qualifications and Experience
Previous experience working in a Revenues and Benefits or customer service role would be an advantage; however, we will consider candidates who can show they have experience in a similar environment and who can bring relevant skills that would allow them to develop into the role through the necessary training.
