Responsibilities

  • Provide customer‑focused, high‑quality advice and assessment services for people threatened with or experiencing homelessness.
  • Investigate customers’ circumstances and assess housing and support needs in accordance with homelessness legislation, statutory guidance, and Council policies and procedures.
  • Work to prevent or relieve homelessness wherever possible.
  • Interpret complex legislation and guidance, contribute positively to the development of new working practices and initiatives that help prevent homelessness, increase take‑up of housing options, and minimise the use and cost of temporary accommodation.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
